What if parents were held accountable for their childrens’ actions?
Positives: Parents would be much more active in their kids’ lives. Violence in schools could go down.
Negatives: We would be punishing one person for the act of another.
What if families had dinner at the table?
Positives: We would know more about our kids. Societal values would increase. We would know more about our family’s lives. Troubled kids may be stopped from engaging in anti-societal activities.
Negatives: None.
What if we found a cure for cancer?
Positives: People with cancer would be cured. Healthcare would have less of a burden with fewer cancer patients.
Negatives: The monetary cost of this medicine would be high.
Positives and Negatives: People would be living longer.
What if teachers were paid a politicians salary?
Positives: We would be funding our future with better teachers.
Negatives: Those entering the profession may be more interested in money rather than actually teaching kids and helping them learn.
What if politicians were paid a teacher’s salary?
Positives: Could it be the end of career politicians? We would have people in politics that WANT to be rather than people going for the money.
Negatives: None.
